Current Position Available: Sub-Contractor.

Sub-contractor Music Therapist

Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

  • Working in day programs and group homes for adults with developmental disabilities.

  • Taking new referrals and assessing clients needs.

  • Setting a monthly schedule with clients.

  • Transportation to and from sessions.

  • Submitting documentation (monthly attendance sheets, weekly timesheets) to supervisor

  • Maintaining independent progress notes for clients.

    Requirements for the Sub-Contractor Position:

    • Board Certification.

    • Valid Driver’s License, current insurance, and dependable transportation.

    • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Experience working with Developmental Disabilities.

    • Must be motivated to grow professionally, and able to work independently.

    • Must have basic knowledge of how to utilize tele-health programs.

Part Time & Full Time Music Therapist

Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

  • Working in day programs and group homes for adults with developmental disabilities.

  • Observation and co-leading sessions while transitioning into your position.

  • Taking new referrals and assessing clients needs.

  • Completing required documentation (setting proper goals, session plans, progress notes, and reports) for each client.

  • Setting a monthly schedule with clients to fit their needs.

  • Transportation to and from sessions.

  • Reporting to the supervisor.

  • Additional responsibilities may entail: community outreach, special projects, business growth & management opportunities, workshops, concerts, etc.
